So, having received a box full of Grey Knights earlier this month, it's contents contained quite a lot of dodgy painted Rhinos due to layer upon layer and me not wanting to be any different, decided to add another layer!
So out came the Chaos Black spray and I got them primed in the base colour for my new Space marine army, so I spent a little time tonight adding the first few layers of highlights on the first Rhino.
Not hugely pleased with it, but hey! It was free, I reckon once some detail is added and some decals, it will take the eyes away from the overflowing glue etc
Another thing I started tonight for the same army was to De-Dark Angel some Dark Vengeance marines by filing and cutting off the symbol and smoothing some green stuff over it to smooth the shoulder pads giving me this as a result
Behind them is the second Rhino which is in a worse condition and will be getting the same treatment tomorrow
Have you guessed what army it is yet?

Lost but not forgotten
I think it's safe to say I'm not the only person who does this, I pick up a model, I think, cool, lets go... 2 weeks later I find it again and think, "Why did I never finish that?" So I thought I would share the 3 models I had forgotten about but now plan on finishing.
So first up I have my metal inquisitor model, for when I finally get around to re painting my Grey Knights (No pictures of them as of yet) As I planned on running the odd inquisitor in my list
Here is the second model I want to finish, it's an Empire Witch Hunter, which I would be using as a counts as inquisitor.

And finally, a dwarf with a standard I started painting to test my new brush's (Daler Rowneys Cryla Range) and I regrettably never finished as I really like the model
So I hope to update you guys with W.I.P Shots every other day!

New Car Smell
So, this is my first post on a brand new blog (Can you smell it?)
So I'll introduce myself, I'm a 17 year old hobbyist from the UK, I was introduced to the hobby around this time last year and since then my love for miniature painting has grown to the point that I have a shed fully converted for painting in (Sad to some, awesome to others)
I started off painting a few Games Workshop models, the cheap £5 something pack of Chaos Space Marines, from there I started a Space Wolves army, which lies in a terrible sorry state, I build and painted most of the army in such a rush they didn't get the care they deserved, but now I'm taking it slower, 5 man squads at a time, which seems to be working out for me.
I also have a very bad habit of painting random one off's, most recent being:

I had a box of them handed to me for a project and this one was already painted up, so I thought, heck, why not just paint it, pleased with the outcome, might stick it on eBay though, even though I love painting, I hate cluttering up with models :P
Currently I'm working on some Killa Kans for eBay, these aren't up to date pictures, but I have been experimenting with foundation paints for the first one after a friend producing a fantastic war boss on a bike which he say's he mainly used foundation paints to achieve.

Quite happy with the blending on the spiky part, not so happy on the bit in between it and the vent, but hey, it's a W.I.P.
Anyway, welcome to my blog, cheers for stopping by.
